Okay, as you all already know Frosty Henderson once again has to leave us due to real life situations. Frosty, please know I wish you the very best in life and that there's always a place for you here if you're ever able to come back to us.

Of course, this leaves us with another issue, or rather, other issues. Now we're out of a second officer and our Chief Of Security, as well as the person set to guide this mission and play our chief antagonist. With that in mind, Lt. Cdr. Vanah and I have discussed the situation and, while we've not solved all of our problems, have come to the conclusion that, for now at least, we're going to have to pull the plug on the Mudd mission. We'll save it for later, hopefully we can at least get Frosty to come back to play Mudd for us. A new mission will go up next week, more of the classic TOS space exploration fare that made the show so great.

Now, for the openings that have presented themselves, we now need a new Chief of Security and a new Second Officer. I've got someone in mind for Chief of Security and for Second Officer, though the possibility of simply not filling that position right away exists. All will be sorted out shortly.

So, that's the updates for now. I'd like to see something out of all of you soon and, if you can, please bring a friend to the Leyte Gulf!

Very proud of you all and this ship, let's carry on and do great for those who have departed us!

Love,
Drea

Hello, Friends.

Please inactivate my characters Frosty Henderson & Deidre.
Most of my reasons are RL, including massive increases in required insurance payments. (Yes, Obamacare included.)
I simply no longer have the luxury of spending so much time on simms.
From all appearances of what's looming ahead, I don't see how I'll possibly be able to return, even after an LOA.

Frosty & Deidre are among my all time favorites. They are a joy and a delight to write.

Concerning the mission, y'all already have my OOC notes, the basic outline for how the Mudd mission could be run. It's a once in a simming career type of mission, a Trek gem to be sure! So, I hope you people will have a ball with it.

I have hopes, but honestly don't know what's going to happen now in life. Whatever it is, it's looking to be a radical change.

Blessings to all.

Phillip

Hey All!

It's now time for our Task Force Mid-Month Update :D As you may have seen on the Bravo Fleet Forums, the Bravo Fleet Admiralty has reformed Task Force 99. I'd like to use this email to give all a guide to what this means for you and your games.

Let's start with the largest reform, Task Force 5, Bravo Fleet's NuTrek Task Force, has been merged back into Task Force 99. They will be transforming to the NuTrek Division. The NuTrek Division will be made up of the USS Constitution, which is commanded by Stephen, and my own game, the USS Liberty.

Part of this new structure is a more diverse Task Group (now known as a sub division) structure. This new structure will include the NuTrek Division, the NX Division, Exploratory Division, Tactical Operations Division 92, and the Alternative Division.

This is the new line up:
NuTrek Division – A subdivision consisting of all games relating to the new Genre created by JJ Abrams, and relating to the new movies: Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.
USS Constitution
USS Liberty

NX Division - A subdivision focused on the ENT Genre. This would include pre-ENT (the series) to during the Series, to the Romulan War, to the beginnings of the Federation.
Terra Nova
USS Talwar
Endeavour
Strategic Response Unit

Tactical Operations Division 92 - A subdivision focused on the years before, during, and after the Dominion War. Tactical Operations 192 would include games from before, during and after the Dominion War. This would include games from Star Trek: The Next Generation, through Deep Space 9.
USS Agrippa
USS Lexington

Exploratory Division - A subdivision that is focused on "early" Star Trek Genres. This would include The Original Series, the Movie Era, and anything before TNG.
USS Leyte Gulf
The Lost Fleet

Alternative Division – A subdivision that is focused on Alternative Universes, Futures, and timelines.
USS Dauntless

What does this mean for you and your games? The only difference under this structure is the layout of our subdivisions. As our new bylaw states, upon reaching five active games, a subdivision will be awarded a Command Adjunct (a position that is similar to the old Task Group Commanding Officer) that will assist me and the Task Force Executive Officer with the operations of the Task Force.

I'd also like to announce that the promotion of one of our own. Please join me in congratulating Drea, who plays Marcia King, aboard the USS Leyte Gulf, on her promotion to the rank of CAPTAIN. Since I taken over command of Task Force 99, Drea has done a great job with the Leyte Gulf and her crew. This promotion is in recognition of her hard work and dedication to the Leyte Gulf and Task Force 99.

Here's the last announcement I have. Since October, I have run Task Force 99 without a Task Force Executive Officer. After the merging Task Force 5 back with us, and with a proven record of leadership, I am happy to appoint Stephen as my Task Force Executive Officer. After previously serving as the Task Force 9 Commanding Officer, I hereby promote him to the rank of Rear Admiral. With this selection, we are now fully prepared to grow our Task Force!

Thank you,
Kyle

I'm sure you've all noticed that there have been some changes made to the roster, including a couple promotions. Lt. Vanah has been moved to Lt. Commander for taking on the role of First Officer and for her constant excellent efforts for the betterment of this simm, even when I'm not able to do as much as I'd like. Also Lt. Henderson our "trusty" Chief of Security has been elevated to the position of Second Officer. Please make a point to congratulate them on these achievements.

I'd love to add the rest of you to the roster for promotions and awards and all of that! So, please, let's all get going again and make this the best ship in Bravo Fleet (we already are, I just want the rest of them to know ;) )

You're all amazing!

Love
Drea

» Coming Back!

Okay, I'm still waiting for my computer to come back to me from repairs, but I'm ready to start the new mission in force starting on Monday of next week. If everyone will please write a little synopsis type post of their shore leave activities I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm going to have to do some clever maneuvering to be able to post the way I want until my computer comes back, but I intend to do whatever I can, so please bear with me.

You're an awesome crew and great people, I'm proud to know you!

Love,
Drea
